A rectangular stamp printed by the government of the Belgian Congo that depicts a heard of water buffalo, depicted in black, running through grass in the background. In the foreground a lone water buffalo stands looking at the viewer. On the top boarder a diamond design. The words 'bubalus' and 'CONGO', in red ink, are at the feet of the water buffalo. The words 'BELGISCH CONGO BELGE' are at the very bottom of the stamp. The top and the bottom of the stamp have small washes of yellow.
